Shawna is a Muslim-American mother and writer. She is not an Islamic scholar–she just lives Islam day by day and try to do her best, insha’Allah. Her goal with this blog and anthology is to reach out to Muslims and non-Muslims alike by presenting voices that speak across the broad spectrum of life and faith.
About Jehanzeb:
Jehanzeb is a Pakistani Muslim-American, a student, writer, and filmmaker who dwells on issues of Faith, Love, and Spirit. He is passionate about establishing strong bridges of understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims, as well as breaking the stereotypes that divide us from one another. He does not believe Islam needs to be reformed, but rather that the Muslim community needs to return to the original spiritual message of Islam. He believes intra-community dialogue within the Islamic community is just as important as reaching out to the non-Muslim community.
