A really interesting blog to read. I totally stand by the point of view expressed by Jehanzeb. Every individual has the right to choose what he/she wants to wear or not. We should not make stereotypes for people based on their sense of dressing and clothing. Just like faith and spirituality which is personal to every individual so is the lifestyl which a person wants to live by. The so-called civilized west doesn't have to force it's perspective of things on other people having different views.

I am not American but I am Muslim who believe that American-Muslims are citizens of the USA who love their country and proud of it.

This is something basic which unfortunately dimmed through the past years after the bloody terrorism in 9/11. Muslims who understand core of Islam know that what happened is not from Islam at all, hopefully people will learn this but when? It's the silly stereotyping!

It's very easy to insult people but hard to understand. This is what all narrow minded mentalities do regardless religion.

9/11 was a tragedy for all of us; being American or non, being Muslims or non, however I am wondering when people will wake up? My heart goes for victims everywhere in this world where anything is committed in the name of God!

p.s. I am inviting you to read my entry for the 8th anniversary too!
